New Xiomi Mi A3

 Xiaomi Mi A3.

Recently, on Twitter, Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi A3 is on the way. The Android One device will launch “very soon,” according to a series of tweets.

Now, we also have leaked renders of the device, courtesy of WinFuture.

The Mi A3 will be the direct follow-up to the Xiaomi Mi A2, which launched in April of last year. Considering April came and went this year, we were wondering when — or if — the company would release the Mi A3.

A little while later, Xiaomi sent out another tweet related to the Xiaomi Mi A3. In this tweet, the company used the hashtag “Photos Without Limits,” which suggests the camera will be a standout feature of the upcoming smartphone.

Shortly after these tweets, WinFuture pushed out a set of leaked renders. The images show three colorways for the device and suggest that the Mi A3 will come with a triple camera setup — with the primary lens being a 48MP sensor, as we expected — as well as a waterdrop notch on the front.

According to WinFuture, the Mi A3 will feature a 32MP selfie cam built into a 6-inch display. That display will have a resolution of 2,240 x 1,080 at a pixel density of 409ppi.

Inside, WinFuture says the device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM. There will also be a microSD slot and a dual SIM card tray. You’ll charge the device using a USB-C cable.
